BALTIMORE, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Matt Stover tied a career high with five field goals Sunday, kicking Baltimore past the winless St. Louis Rams 22-3.
The staunch Ravens defense forced six turnovers.
Derrick Mason had five catches for 79 yards and Willis McGahee scored once on 25 attempts for 61 yards.
Baltimore (4-2) has won three of its last four games to solidify its second-place standing in the AFC North Division.
St. Louis quarterback Gus Frerotte was 19-for-36 for 208 yards with five interceptions and one lost fumble.
Travis Minor rushed for 40 yards on seven attempts, while Marques Hagans had five catches for 74 yards as the Rams (0-6) equaled their worst start since 1962.
St. Louis wide receiver Drew Bennett left the game in the second quarter with a hamstring injury.
