Baltimore Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller and linebacker Ray Lewis were both injured during Sunday's game against Miami.
Boller suffered a concussion when he was hit by Miami's Vonnie Holiday on a fourth-quarter pass, while Lewis dislocated a finger on his left hand in the third quarter.
The Ravens dropped a 22-16 decision in overtime on Sunday. The Dolphins earned their first win and ended a 16-game losing streak since last season
Boller completed 10-of-19 passes for 159 yards with a touchdown and an interception in defeat. After he left the contest, rookie Troy Smith took over behind center.
Troy Smith, the 2006 Heisman Trophy winner from Ohio State, guided the Ravens to a tying field goal in the waning moments of regulation and had the team in position for the win, but Matt Stover missed a 44-yard field goal in the extra period.
In three series of downs, Smith threw for 49 yards while completing 5-of-11 throws.
Lewis finished with four tackles and one sack before leaving the contest.
