FRED-EX STILL DELIVERING?
According to Pro Football Talk.com and the Baltimore Sun, former Eagles wide receiver Fred die Mitchell had a workout with the Baltimore Ravens this week.
Mitchell, a 2001 first-round draft pick of the Eagles, has not played in a game since the Eagles lost to New England in the Super Bowl following the 2004 season.
New Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was with the Eagles throughout Mitchell's tenure with the team and, if I remember cor rectly, was never a huge fan of Fred-Ex.
Baltimore must really need a wide receiver.

BROWNS STILL LOOKING
Cleveland has made some huge strides (literally) to upgrade its defense with the addition of defensive tackles Shaun Rogers and Corey Williams. The Browns might not be done, however.
According to reports, the Browns could be in the market for linebacker Rosevelt Colvin, who played for both Chicago and New England, and knows Cleveland head coach Romeo Crennel from his time with the Pats.
KEEPING UP WITH JONES
Unemployed running back Kevin Jones, always a favorite of this space, is working out as he tries to return to the NFL after being released by the Detroit Lions.
Jones has had foot and knee in juries curtail his career, but he insists he's healthy and wants to prove it.
New England and Tennessee have shown mild interest, but not enough to entice Jones to sign just yet.
